Nucleus, Kentucky's Innovation Center, was established in 2008 by the University of Louisville Foundation to integrate UofL resources, including life sciences, with those of the region to transform Louisville into a major life science and technology research hub. Nucleus works to provide a full compendium of technology, business and economic development services and programs that help researchers, entrepreneurs, and start-up companies achieve success. Innovate LTC is a business accelerator that will provide a pathway and development plan for those seeking to bring quality of life and quality of care innovations to the expanding Aging Care community. The center collaborates with entrepreneurs, researchers, and existing companies to develop business plans, prototypes, and relationships with local industry. InnovateLTC’s goal is to empower the creation, development, packing and distribution of sustainable, scalable and disruptive products, services and technologies.

FastTrac TechVenture February 21 - April 24
For entrepreneurs with technology-based business opportunities.
Practical, hands-on concept analysis and business development program.
Experienced business coaches complement course instructors by facilitating small-group and individual learning and providing advice on class assignments. Guest speakers illustrate business concepts and share their real-life business experiences.
Fall program begins Tuesday, February 21 and runs weekly through April 24.
Class meets 6-9 pm every Tuesday evening in the Nucleus conference room.
Cost is $895/person; cost for second and third person involved in same start-up or business opportunity is $400/person.
* Approved as 30 hours of CE credit for Engineers in IN and KY.
